Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Home Science as per the academic curriculum for the assigned classes.
- Deliver lessons that cover theoretical and practical aspects, including nutrition, health, hygiene, textiles, resource management, and family relationships.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and project-based activities to make learning experiential.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and practical skills regularly.
- Maintain records, coordinate with parents, and contribute to school events involving Home Science demonstrations or exhibitions.
- Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and values in the context of family and social science.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Home Science from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at school level is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal communication skills.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring young girls in both theoretical and hands-on learning environments.
