Job Role: Online Tutor(Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science, Mathematics) K12
Job Location : Remote (WFH)
Key Responsibilities (Online Tutor):
- Deliver engaging and effective online tutoring sessions that support students' academic progress and enhance their understanding of subject-specific concepts.
- Use a variety of digital tools and teaching strategies to create an interactive, student-centered virtual learning environment.
- Personalize instruction based on each student's learning style, pace, and academic needs to improve comprehension and retention.
- Collaborate with academic teams to align tutoring sessions with curriculum goals and learning outcomes.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their development and academic performance.
- Track and report student progress, identifying areas of difficulty and adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Stay current with best practices in online education, digital tools, and subject-area knowledge to ensure high-quality tutoring.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents (if applicable) to discuss progress, address concerns, and reinforce learning goals.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional online presence to foster student motivation and confidence.
- Participate in team meetings, peer learning opportunities, and continuous development initiatives to enhance tutoring effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational & Professional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related subjects.
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a hybrid academic-marketing role.
- Strong understanding of the core subject and prepare own teaching material
Technical Proficiencies :
- Familiarity with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams).
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with digital Pentab and other digital tools
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creative thinking with a knack for integrating attentive classes and interactive sessions.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
