Job Description: Academic Mentor – Vedantu (Work From Home)
Vedantu, a leading EdTech platform dedicated to transforming education and enabling academic success for students, is currently hiring Academic Mentors to join its dynamic team. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a critical role in supporting students by assessing their academic performance, analyzing learning gaps, and providing targeted interventions to ensure success. You will act as a bridge between students, parents, and academic managers, fostering a supportive and productive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Mentoring: Provide academic mentorship to help students meet learning goals. Monitor performance, guide homework completion, and track remedial submissions.
- Parent Engagement: Actively communicate with parents to resolve concerns, provide feedback, and improve attendance and participation.
- Communication: Handle student and parent communication professionally, including escalation management and cold call interactions.
- Data & Intervention Analysis: Track and assess learning outcomes (LO), chapter-wise performance, and attempt percentages to design effective intervention strategies.
- Administrative Management: Document interventions, maintain accurate reports, and track student progress.
- Efficacy Tracking: Use performance data to measure intervention success and refine teaching strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic managers and functional teams to develop and implement customized improvement plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream.
- Subject expertise in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, or Social Studies at tuition/school level.
- Previous experience in teaching or mentoring is preferred.
